The Overload Indicator is used to ensure that any lifting system will be able to work up to and including its safe working load. The operator will be clearly warned by a two stage buzzer and simple 'traffic' lights caused by a dangerous overload.
The load sensing pins or links can be built into a variety of places in any gantry or chain hoist system. As a bonus the overload indicator can also be used to switch off the lift motor during overload.
